The last couple of days I have been getting a lot of submissions, and actual good ones at that, so thank you! One of the first ones I got was this track called “Girl” by Canadian artist Subsist. It starts out really fragile until the guitar appears at the 2 minute mark. To be honest, I was kind of scared when I first heard that guitar, because a lot of times it ruins electronic tracks for me. Obviously I was relieved when I found that it actually makes perfect sense here and it gets better with every listen.

“Girl” is the title track to a 3-track EP that was released three months ago and is free to download via Subsist’s soundcloud. As a bonus I have added opening track “Deep Sleep”, sampling Warpaint, here as well. It’s dark and distorted, which means it’s right up my alley.
