VEILS are from Lisbon, Portugal and so far I truly like them. Every time I give them a listen their music seems to project images on the inside of my eyelids; shadows of obscure rituals in moonlit forests and disturbing rites performed in empty basements, conjuring the forces of nature or, more likely, the supernatural. 

In contrast to sinister track “MARBLE EYES”, “SILENCE” is composed of a certain innocence, however growing more disturbing towards the end. VEILS will play their first show in February supporting CRIM3S, so hopefully we’ll soon hear more from them than the four currently released tracks.
